Founder's Story
Growing up in the mountains of Mi-Wuk Village, California, Lael, a resilient eco-conscious entrepreneur, discovered her love for nature and sustainable craftsmanship. Overcoming a past marked by abuse, the ocean became her refuge, offering stability and peace amidst life's chaos. Her travels around the world led her to San Diego, where she decided to establish her sustainable luxury brand focused on eco-friendly reusable products.
The sea, symbolizing humility, grounding, liberation, and the essence of life, inspired her sustainable product line of luxury reusable metal straws, which reflects her journey of resilience and authenticity. Crafted with care using environmentally conscious practices, her brand invites others to embrace their adventures and find strength and healing in nature's transformative power through sustainable living.
In line with her ocean conservation mission, Lael pledges to donate 10% of profits to ocean preservation initiatives and communities supporting abuse survivors. These funds empower organizations dedicated to preserving marine ecosystems and providing survivors access to courses for financial independence. Through our ethical supply chain and relationship with our manufacturer, we also contribute to supplying food, shelter, and education to the artisan miners of Ecolux silver in India.
